Little Boy Blue

Good Afternoon All. I hope you are all safe and well where you are, Last night we had a riot going on in our town, lots of the riotters ended up right outside where we live, and burned cars, bins and burned the pub down, it was frightening, the police disappeared, the fire man couldn't get near as they where throwing bricks and fireworks at them. Now they are trying to make the pub safe the road is blocked off . I dont understand why ?

Now to my card, Ive used a New image from Nicecrane designs called Little Boy Blue, which is from the Mother Goose series.Coloured with promarkers, old papermania papers, embellishments from stash.  You can see All the new images here  http://nicecranedesigns.com/
Why not pop over to the shop and see what else is new.
Thank you for stopping by, I really appreciate it, Dont forget to put your name down for my Christmas candy.

My heart goes out to the people of London. You expect to see things like this in other parts of the world, but not England. It's long past 'about justice' and now more about destruction for destruction's sake. My prayers are with you. Your card is beautiful - you always seem to find such unique images to use.

Can't help thinking that
1. I am glad I am no longer expected to stand in riot gear whilst idiots throw firebombs etc at me
2. The police resources are now so stretched to the limit and their senior officers are so scared of the 'politically correct' brigade they are powerless to do anything except watch whilst this wanton destruction goes on
2. If kids were taught respect and discipline we wouldn't be in this sorry state - it ain't anything to do with deprivation - it's all to do with wanting stuff for nothing and thinking the rest of society owes them something

Rant over

Oh and By the way - Lovely card Kevin! Great image.

So sorry Kevin that it was going on so close to you. It must have been very scary. I heard there were riots in Enfield where we used to live as well. It is at times like this that I am so grateful to be living in the countryside.
Lovely card.... bless his little heart blowing with all his might on that big trumpet!.
Stay safe both of you. Jan xx

Great card Kev and am so glad you are both safe, you must have been scared stiff. These riots are making us all very angry. Just wish they would send the army in with their tanks and mow the lot of them down.........or is that not politically correct..... xx

Oh, dear, Kevin. The riots in England have made the news even here in Colorado USA. I'm so sorry that it came so terrifyingly close to you. Be safe amidst all that insanity. What an inexplicable waste of time and money by those young men.
Your card, however, is quite beautiful and a testament that there is still beauty in this world to be created and appreciated.

Hi Kevin a stunning card and i love that image. Sorry to hear that you are so upset with the riots, I dont understand either unless the kids are so bored they dont know what to do with themselves, and anything that goes under the name of fun is what they seem to enjoy making life upsetting for everyone. hugs Shirleyxx

The rioting has been terrible, but I'm lucky to not be near anything really bad, just minor local stuff. I'm glad to hear you are safe although it sounds like you've been in quite a bad part of it.

Stay safe and take care. X X
