C.R.A.F.T Challenge 82 New Year ( Happy Hogmanay)

Good Morning to you All, I hope you are already for the Christmas celebrations. Our challenge for this week is New year,  I dont normally make New year cards I do however make a few Hogmanay cards for my Family and friends that are up in the highlands. So ive made a couple for this weeks challenge. ive used my own template to make the Kilts, and a Gealic sentiment. Lang may yer lum reek, which roughly means long may your chimney smoke. sounds funny i know, its an old custom to give a piece of coal when you visit someone for good luck.

Non Traditional colour Elf

Good afternoon to you all, I hope you are all keeping well and warm,and are ready for the Christmas holidays.  I have had a bit of luck this week, I Won a prize this gorgeous Elf stamp from Squiggles stamps. and while he looks absolutely fabulous coloured in traditonal colours I thought it would be fun to do some thing different. i have used dovecraft papers which i bought last year and didnt really use.

My Favorite Tilda

Lilac and Lace Tilda

Another Tilda challenge card, im adding this to the Totally Tilda challenge  which is lilac and lace and the C.R.A.F.T challenge which is mile stones, so hopefully this fits for both. this is the first time ive used a lace doilie on one of my cards, i got these from Joanna Sheen.

 I can remember when i first saw these penny black hedgehog stamps, i thought they where great, now there are so many different ones, i haven't been able to keep up with them all.

Another of Loretta's challenge's over on DC, I really enjoyed making this one, this is one of Heathers stamps , its an oldie but goodie. when i first started making cards I only had Heathers stash to use, so made lots of cards with this stamp lol, but she is still in good shape, so if you look after your stamps they will last for years

Double chocolate Chip

Another card for one of Loretta's challenges over on Docraft, I had a lot of fun making this card, I took a photo of a cookie and shrunk it down  to use and i was pleased with the result, but i kept fancing a biscult all the time i was  making it,  i got the recipe off the net, so i might have to have a go at making some later.
