My Birthday

Hi All, Its my Birthday today, so I thought I would show some of the gifts I got this Morning, and I want to say Thank you to, Susie,Tammy, Sue, Annette and Angie for there fabulous cards, I love them.

Easter Love

Good Afternoon All, I hope you are All well, Wishing Happy Mothers Day to All the Mum's in the UK today.
As some of you know My Heather is unwell, and can't do alot for herself at the moment, this cause's her to be very depressed, so to have a bit of fun, I let her pick ingredients and said I would use everything on one card lol  and Here it is, I don't think it came out to bad, what ive used, the image is called Murray from the Saturated Canary,Coloured with promarkers, Pearl blue card, peach card,backing paper My minds eye, roses from Hobbycraft, Spellbinders labels die ten, and a part of a Cherry Lynn swirl die.
 Doily from Hooked on craft, lace, yes there is lace under there, ribbon, twine, pins, button, charm and bling are all from stash. It took me ages to make and I was well out of my comfort zone, but  the result was worth it. Heather loves it and wants to keep it as her Easter card.

Cardmadfairy Digi days Challenge, Mum's the word.

I dont make Mothers day cards as My own Darling Mum and My Mother-in-law have both past away,

Craft Garden March Challenge

Good Morning All, I hope you are All well. Can you believe it is already the 1st March, this year is going fast, as it is the 1st of the Month we have a new Inspirational challenge for you at the Craft Garden. Pop to the blog to see the inspirational picture

When I saw this picture I just wanted to make a cottage, so I have, my cottage is made with salt dough, It measures 7& half inches by 4 & half inches. I modeled  the cottage, it had to be baked in a very low temp oven for about 8 hours, I then left it over night to make sure it was properly dried out and cold, I then painted it with acrylic paints, when that was completely dry I then varnished it with 3 layers of wood varnish. If you would like to have a try, the recipe is on my Salt Dough page.(which you can find at the top of my blog.)
Now back to the challenge, you can make what ever you want, a card, scrapbook page, knitting or even have a try at some salt dough, as long as you have taken Inspiration from the picture.
