Graph'It Colour Crazy Challenge Water/Ice

Good Morning All, I hope you are all keeping well, Today we have a New Challenge starting for you over at Graph'It Colour Challenge and this fortnight it is Water/Ice.
For my card I have used this gorgeous fairy image from Mo Manning, I have coloured her with my Graph'It markers I have attempted to make her wings the snow balls and the ground look icy, Backing papers are from Dovecraft, Sizzix die cut snowflakes Marianne create die cut tree a the other trees are from a christmas embellishment pack the dove is from Do crafts the ribbon pom pom trim and all the gems are from my stash,

Tatty Twinkle Christmas

Good Morning All, I hope you are all well, today's card is made using one of the gorgeous Tatty Twinkle christmas stamps, I have stamped her and coloured her with my Graph'It markers, I used some fluffy stuff on the hat trim and as snow on the post box & on the ground. Xcut square die cut frames backing papers are from Do Craft the wooden trees are from Dovecraft die cut twigs and leaves are from Tattered lace, the doily flowers and ribbon are all from stash.

Creative Blog Hop

Hello All, I am back from my break away on the Isle of Wight before I went My Dear friend Teresa asked me if I wanted to take part in this Creative blog hop, I was ment to post it up last week but then we lost our phone line and Internet so I couldn't get it done and then went away for a break, so here I am now, Sorry Teresa for the delay.do visit Teresa's blog she is a wonderfully talented artist.

What I am Working On Now??
For me this time of year I am crazy making Christmas cards, this is my busy time of year for card orders

I make at least 300 Christmas cards every year and each year it gets harder to come up with new designs and different images to use but I do love making them all.

How Does My Work Differ from others In my Genre??
I love to colour and I am addicted to my fabulous Graph'It Markers with my card making I don't think I am much different to anyone else, I love colours all colours and like to stretch myself,I make myself use pinks and such, I only have one eye, so it takes me a bit longer to make my cards and things I love crafting I really enjoy moudling the salt dough figures and painting them

This is a Salt Dough Witch I made a couple of years ago.

Why Do you Create what you do??
When I had to pack up working due to my ill heath I was very depressed and really didnt know what to do with my self, So My beautiful Wife Heather said why not try some arts and crafts, so that is what I did, I started painting making the salt dough figures and Card making,, I joined Do Craft and got lots of inspiration form the ladies over there, and have just kept going, my dear friend Annette, said I should start blogging so I did and I have never looked back.
Here is one of my water colour painting for you to see.

Sorry about the picture but this painting is hanging on the wall in our living room as Heather loves it so much and it was so bright when I took the picture I got some glare.

How Does My Creative Process Work??
I get inspired by things I see, I love visiting other peoples blogs and seeing there work, I might get inspired by something like a colour or an image, and very often when it comes to painting I will be inspired by a plant or a view, I never copy any one elses work but I love seeing what you all make and take alot of inspiration from all of you guys out there in blog land and I love that we can all make our cards with the same images and papers and embellishments but they will always look so different.

Graph'It Colour Challenge,Extra FX, Background effects.

 Good Morning All I hope you are all well, I have had a hell of a week, No phone line or internet until yesterday, I couldn't believe the wind could cause such damage, Anyway I am off for the weekend to the Isle of Wight for a 30th Birthday party and I wont be back until Sunday evening.
 On to the Challenge reminder, We are doing background effects,over at Graph'It Colour Challenge now for mine I printed my image twice,and cut one out to us as a mask. I coloured the background first using two colours I the masked the image and sprayed some mix it fluid, and used my blender pen to create a snow effect and I added some silver glitter pen, I then coloured my image and added a little frantage to bring a bit of snow to the front of the image,
Backing papers are from Bo Bunny, Marianne creatable die cut large snowflake, ribbon and poinsettia are from stash.

The prize is a fabulous selection of Graph;It goodies, You Do Not Have to use Graph'It markers to enter, you Can use any markers you have. I do hope you will join in with us, I look forward to seeing you background effects.

We Do Doobadoo Challenge, Halloween

Gem of a Challenge. Create a Scene

Brown & Cream Christmas

Good Afternoon All, I hope you are all keeping well, our weather is really funny today, when I went upto the hospital to visit my Dad the sun was shinning, came out it was raining, got on the bus sunny again, then rain again and now sun, but no rainbow as yet, My card to day is made using one of the New Bestie Christmas images from Sherri Baldy isn't she lovely, I have coloured her with my Graph'it markers,the hat color and cuff are all glittered but its not showing up very well. I have followed a sketch from Everybody Art Challenge, which was fun to do, the papers are from Dovecraft back to basics modern the snow flake die cut ring is from Sizzix the tree is from Marianne creatables, and the stamped bingo tickets are from Joy craft.
