Creative Blog Hop

Hello All, I am back from my break away on the Isle of Wight before I went My Dear friend Teresa asked me if I wanted to take part in this Creative blog hop, I was ment to post it up last week but then we lost our phone line and Internet so I couldn't get it done and then went away for a break, so here I am now, Sorry Teresa for the delay.do visit Teresa's blog she is a wonderfully talented artist.

What I am Working On Now??
For me this time of year I am crazy making Christmas cards, this is my busy time of year for card orders
I make at least 300 Christmas cards every year and each year it gets harder to come up with new designs and different images to use but I do love making them all.

How Does My Work Differ from others In my Genre??
I love to colour and I am addicted to my fabulous Graph'It Markers with my card making I don't think I am much different to anyone else, I love colours all colours and like to stretch myself,I make myself use pinks and such, I only have one eye, so it takes me a bit longer to make my cards and things I love crafting I really enjoy moudling the salt dough figures and painting them
This is a Salt Dough Witch I made a couple of years ago.

Why Do you Create what you do??
When I had to pack up working due to my ill heath I was very depressed and really didnt know what to do with my self, So My beautiful Wife Heather said why not try some arts and crafts, so that is what I did, I started painting making the salt dough figures and Card making,, I joined Do Craft and got lots of inspiration form the ladies over there, and have just kept going, my dear friend Annette, said I should start blogging so I did and I have never looked back.
Here is one of my water colour painting for you to see.
Sorry about the picture but this painting is hanging on the wall in our living room as Heather loves it so much and it was so bright when I took the picture I got some glare.

How Does My Creative Process Work??
I get inspired by things I see, I love visiting other peoples blogs and seeing there work, I might get inspired by something like a colour or an image, and very often when it comes to painting I will be inspired by a plant or a view, I never copy any one elses work but I love seeing what you all make and take alot of inspiration from all of you guys out there in blog land and I love that we can all make our cards with the same images and papers and embellishments but they will always look so different.

I would like to take this Chance to thank you for visiting my blog and leaving me positive feed back. appreciate everyone of you. I would like to nominate another great Crafter to take part in this Creative blog hop and that is you Tammy.
Thank you for stopping by, I really appreciate it, I hope it hasn't been to boring for you.
Kevin xx

Wow Kevin, it was wonderful getting to know you a little bit better. You are just so artistic and your creativity knows no bounds. 300 Xmas cards is a tall order, but I am sure its enjoying the journey creating them that is the most important.

And you do have fabulous style of coloring, and a bit of humor in your cards-which I admire!

Best of luck on your health, keep your nose and chin up!

I get hot flashes and panic attacks when I don't think I'll finish 40 cards for Christmas. How on earth do you do it? It's intravenous bags of caffeine isn't it? Direct line to your blood stream? 5 hour energy shots? You're like the Energizer bunny that just keeps going and going!! What a wonderful peak into your other crafty arenas. i LOOOVE your sculpture. I would enjoy seeing more of those and your painting skills are incredible. No wonder your wife wants that front and center in the living room.
Such a great visit to your blog Kevin.
Thanks so much.

Hallo lieber Kevin,

OMGosh Kevin, I knew you were a talented card designer and I knew about your fabulous salt dough creations, but your water colour painting is amazing. No wonder Heather likes it so much. I said to my husband, "Look at this painting. This guy has only one eye." "Wow," he said, "That is one really good eye."

Thanks for your lovely comments about me. You are a dear man.

And.... 300 Christmas cards? 8^O

Blessing hugs,
Teresa

PS - I hope to see more of your paintings. You are marvellously talented.
