A Wish for my Mum

Good Morning All, I hope you are All keeping well. My Mum has been gone 20 years this year, every year I like to make a card for her Birthday, I laminate the card so I can put it on her grave. This card is made using this beautiful Angel image from Aurora Wings, I have coloured her with my Graph'It markers, I have used a template from Dutch Doobadoo for the open book design, the backing papers are from Dovecraft  the pearls and the dove are from my stash.
I would like to enter my card into the following challenges.
Thank you for visiting my blog, It really means a lot to me,
Have a wonderful day
Kevin xx

  23. This could not be more beautiful, Kevin. I love that you have likened your mom to both an angel and an open book - indicating that her life is a beautiful story, and how much you appreciate and love her. She must have been a very special person to raise a son like you - so tender, compassionate and loving, yet someone independent and unwilling to be anything/anyone else other than his own dear/ strong self. Thank you for sharing about your tradition, and your mum. Hoping you are feeling better every day. (BTW, the colors on your creation are beyond peaceful - truly) hugs, de

  27. Hi Kevin,
such a very lovely card for your Mum's grave.
This is such a very great idea.
Sadly my Mum passed 13 years ago, and her grave is 208 miles away from my house so I can't do this as often as I would like to.
I do hope you are back to good health after your mishap.
