C.R.A.F.T Challenge 82 New Year ( Happy Hogmanay)

Good Morning to you All, I hope you are already for the Christmas celebrations. Our challenge for this week is New year,  I dont normally make New year cards I do however make a few Hogmanay cards for my Family and friends that are up in the highlands. So ive made a couple for this weeks challenge. ive used my own template to make the Kilts, and a Gealic sentiment. Lang may yer lum reek, which roughly means long may your chimney smoke. sounds funny i know, its an old custom to give a piece of coal when you visit someone for good luck.

our sponsor for this week is   http://samdoodles.blogspot.com/ the prize is a mixed digital package

I want to wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy Hogmany

These are brilliant Kevin. I bought some Tartan card and some sprigs of heather to do some cards so you have given me some inspiration. Have a good one Kevin.

Delightful cards Kevin. Almost makes me hungry for haggis....
Thanks for popping by to see my St. Paddy's card.
I created a 'homage' card to Scotland - it remains one of my favorites. It is here if you would like to vew it: http://fiberbubble.blogspot.com/2010/09/prickly-deadlines.html

I hope your first footing is a lucky one and included some shortbread and a wee dram of whiskey.
